The Lord Nelson PAC is hosting a speaker on anxiety

The following is a message from Lord Nelson PAC:


Due to the overwhelming interest in our anxiety presentation held at Lord Nelson in 2014, we are again offering our parents, guardians and members of the wider community the opportunity to hear a parent education presentation focused on anxiety. The angle of this presentation,  Anxiety 101, differs from last year's, and is more developmental in nature.  Rebecca Mitchell, M.A., RCC, and a member of  The Wishing Star  team, will speak about the perceived  root of anxiety, alarm, and explore what it  is that alarms children.  She will also address coping strategies or ways to overcome  alarm in the long term.

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm (Doors open at 6:00 pm)
