Four former Tennyson students competed in the Regional Science Fair at UBC for the past 3 days.
Nerissa Kassis & Emmy Bos (Tennyson grad 2013) had a Science Fair project titled "Le carbonate de calcium: une remplacement aux retardateurs de feux". They won many Special Awards yesterday at the awards ceremony.
Two other former Tennyson students won an all-expenses paid trip to compete at the Canadian National Science Fair competition in May this year. They will travel to Regina for a week to compete!
Julia Ionica (Tennyson grad 2014) is going to Nationals with her Science Fair project titled "L'investigation de la réaction endothermique dans les compresses froides". Congratulations Julia!
Jay Botham (Tennyson grad 2016) is going to Nationals with her Science Fair project titled "The Effect of Hair Dye on Hair Strength". Congratulations Jay!
Nerissa, Emmy, and Julia attend Kitsilano High and study in French Immersion.
Jay attends Prince of Wales Mini and studies in English.
