Our grade 7 students hosted their Quebec twins in Vancouver this week. What a week it has been! The students arrived Monday evening and had a welcome dinner at the school. The week's activities included: paddle-boarding, hiking in Lynn Canyon, biking the Stanley Park seawall, visiting the aquarium, seeing Fly Over Canada, touring Chinatown and Gastown, dragon-boating, visiting Granville Island, a bbq in the pouring rain (very Vancouver!), Britiannia Mines, Shannon Falls, and Whistler. If you see some exhausted kids wandering around, you know why! The Quebec students will spend the weekend with their new families and will return home on Monday morning. Here is a sampling of the fun times:

It was such a special week. I really appreciate all the work that the teachers did to plan such great activities and take the kids every day. Tiring stuff! And the parent group also rounded the activities out for the kids. Memories to last a life time were created and such a wonderful cultural experience. Comments are closed.
